Marriage between two startups: the Neapolitan Citel Group acquires 100% of the Milanese company Competence&Digital. The Milanese company Competence & Digital in 2020 achieved a turnover of about 1.5 million and over the years has developed projects for clients of the caliber of Insurance Alliance, PSA SpA Group, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and Luxottica, recently supporting Citel Group itself in the creation of the design and “usability” of digital applications to support strategic business processes in the transport sector (especially by sea) and in the pharmaceutical sector. The acquisition of Competence & Digital will allow Citel Group to expand its portfolio of skills that enable the digital transformation of companies, in particular by internalizing the activities that affect the customer experience, intuitiveness of use and the design of digital applications, solutions of artificial intelligence and mobile app. With the operation, all 15 Competence & Digital employees will join the staff of 200 Citel Group professionals and Alessandro Ilarda, CEO of the Milanese customer experience boutique with twenty years of experience in the digital design sector, will become the new chief digital officer of Citel Group.
