The new generation Peugeot 5008 will debut in March. This was confirmed by the French brand of the Stellantis group itself on the occasion of E-Lion Day. In addition to the new Stla Medium platform, the two models will also have a 1200 cc 3-cylinder hybrid petrol engine combined with an electric 21 hp for a system power of 136 hp, as well as having front-wheel drive and also a six-speed automatic transmission.
The electric with the same entry-level as the e-3008

On sale at the end of 2024 at prices yet to be defined
The new 5008, after its debut scheduled for March, will be on sale by the end of the year at prices slightly higher than those of the 3008. As designated competitors of the hybrid version of the future 5008, it could be expected that it will compete on equal terms with similar models both from Honda with the new CR-V, but also from Toyota with the Rav4, while the electric e-5008 could compete with the most recent battery-powered SUVs from Kia EV6, Nissan Ariya and Skoda Enyaq.
