On March 9, the Shanghai Futures Exchange issued a one-day notice on the suspension of trading in some nickel futures contracts. The NI2204, NI2205, NI2206, NI2207, NI2209, NI2212, NI2301 contracts have reached the daily limit for three consecutive days. According to Article 16 of the Shanghai Futures Exchange Risk Control Management Measures, the exchange has researched and decided as follows: At the close of settlement on March 9 , the price limit for NI2204, NI2205, NI2206, NI2207, NI2209, NI2212, and NI2301 contracts remains at 17%, and the trading margin ratio remains at 19%. From the evening trading of March 9th, NI2204, NI2205, NI2206, NI2207, NI2209, NI2212, NI2301 contracts will be suspended for one day.
