Jenny von Podewils is co-founder and managing director of the HR tech startup Leapsome. The AI-supported software is intended to help companies build an agile feedback and learning culture. After six years of bootstrapping, Leapsome raised VC money for the first time in 2022 and then an impressive 60 million euros. For good reason: The startup was planning to expand into the USA.
Podewils has also been living and working in New York since spring 2023. The big challenge now for the St. Gallen and Oxford alumna is to manage a six-hour time difference. Of course, that’s not the only calendar hiccup.
