Positive mid-August for the holiday industry, with 25.4 million Italians on vacation, according to a survey carried out by Coldiretti / Ixè. Results mainly driven by the sea and the mountains. But also marked by the Covid emergency and green passes. However, millions of foreigners are missing, especially the big spenders outside the EU.

The cities of art suffer
«And indeed the cities of art continue to be in crisis – explains Lalli – luxury structures continue to be in crisis. Italians, who are also traveling, cannot compensate for the expenses of international luxury travelers. We are still in great suffering. Now we have to see if we can leave everything behind or we have to run for cover again and then our problem would become very serious ».
