Two Men Arrested for Refusing to Pay Bar Bill

Juarez City.- Municipal police arrested two men this morning for refusing to pay their bill at a local bar in Juarez City. The individuals, identified as Felipe Isaac MT, 29 years old, and Edgar Eduardo CM, 24, had been drinking beers at the San Martín bar on De las Torres and Ramacoi avenues in the Santa Mónica subdivision for several hours before attempting to leave without covering the amount owed.

Bar staff called the police for assistance at 1:45 a.m. after the men tried to escape. The manager of the establishment, Francisco Javier GG, stated that the bill totaled two thousand 424 pesos.

The two individuals were taken into custody and charged with generic fraud. They are currently under the jurisdiction of the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office awaiting further legal proceedings.
