Unveiling the Timberwolf: PaxPower’s Latest Project on the Toyota Tundra

PaxPower unveils Timberwolf package for Toyota Tundra

The Toyota Tundra may not be the most successful full-size pickup in the United States, but it still has a dedicated fanbase. Now, the PaxPower firm, known for its work on Ford and Chevrolet pickups, has revealed its latest project based on the Tundra.

Dubbed the Timberwolf, this modified Toyota pickup boasts a range of enhancements aimed at improving its off-road capabilities. The standard package includes a high-performance suspension from Icon Vehicle Dynamics, with 2.5-inch shock absorbers in the front and new high-performance shock absorbers in the rear. The suspension upgrades also result in a 5 cm increase in ground clearance at the front and a 2.5 cm increase at the rear.

Additionally, the PaxPower kit includes side steps and a set of rims from Method Race Wheels, fitted with 35-inch diameter all-terrain tires. While no changes were made to the Tundra’s 3.5-liter biturbo V6 engine, PaxPower did install a stainless steel exhaust system that boosts power to 450 HP and torque to 813 Nm, up from the factory ratings of 437 HP and 790 Nm.

These enhancements are available for all 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra models, regardless of trim level. Customers also have the option to opt for even more radical upgrades, including fitting higher-spec suspension components from either Icon Racing Dynamics or Fox Racing.

For Tundra enthusiasts looking to take their pickups to the next level, PaxPower’s Timberwolf package offers a range of off-road enhancements, making it an exciting option for those wanting to push the limits of their Toyota pickup.
