Italgas has started the management of the natural gas distribution service in the Valle d’Aosta territorial area, with the Municipality of Aosta as the lead body for all the Municipalities of the region (74 in all). The completion of the tender phases allows Italgas to manage the service for the next 12 years and at the same time launch the 100 million investment plan included in the offer, which turned out to be a winner. 24 out of 74 centers have connections to the methane network, with approximately 350 kilometers of networks reaching 20,000 users. Valle d’Aosta is one of the six areas out of the 177 existing in Italy that has completed the process of awarding the service.
