For a company with 204,000 employees, 80,000 of them in Germany, a double-digit salary increase can be expensive. Adjusted, group-wide personnel expenses amounted to 18.1 billion euros in 2022. Greater uncertainty regarding this factor may well justify a postponement of the capital market day. The analysts have already received a “save the date” note in their email inbox: The in-house analyst conference will now take place on October 10th and 11th.
Editor’s note: In a first version of the text there was talk of Telekom postponing the date. However, Telekom had not officially communicated the spring date, so there was no cancellation or postponement.
