Ookla®, the global leader in testing and data analysis applications for fixed and mobile networks, has recognized the prestigious Speedtest AwardTM to the company led by Jeffrey Hedberg, for providing, also in the first half of this year, the highest mobile network speed in both download and upload.
In particular, WINDTRE obtained the best performance with an average result of 37.11 Mbps in download and 10.59 Mbps in upload, achieving a total Speed ScoreTM equal to 50.24, with an increase of over three points compared to the previous one. score. The recognition achieved by WINDTRE is based on Ookla’s analysis of Speedtest Intelligence® data. The measurements were obtained thanks to the tests carried out by customers in Italy with the Speedtest® app, using iOS and Android devices on the overall technologies of the mobile network: these are 1,467,673 surveys carried out in the period between January and June 2021.
