2021 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival Bamin Film Tour starts
Xiamen DailyNews (Reporter Guo Rui) The 2021 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival Bamin Film Tour will kick off on the evening of the 16th in the guest city of Fuzhou. The film festival will hold 200 screenings in 20 cinemas in nine cities and one district of our province. At the same time, it will also join the New Countryside Cinemas to conduct 200 to 300 public welfare screenings in many villages across the province.
This film festival launched thematic curation for the first time, using the Golden Rooster platform and integrating Fujian elements to plan the four major exhibition units of “Mountains and Seas”, “Inclusive of All Rivers”, “Golden Rooster Reporting Dawn” and “Annual Theme”. Among them, the “Annual Theme” focused on the centenary gift films of the founding of the party, and selected a number of outstanding gift films such as “1921” and “Red Ship” to participate in the screening. The opening film is “Across the Yalu River”, which won the “Golden Silk Road Award” for the best visual effects award at the Silk Road International Film Festival held recently. This is the premiere of the film in Fujian.
At the launching ceremony, the main venue in Fuzhou and the branch venues across the province had an interactive connection. The rural film projectionist Chen Yuan from Xiamen Haicang shared his red light and shadow story at the Xiamen branch.
It is reported that 2021 will be the first year of the Bamin Film Tour of the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, with cities in the province taking turns as the host city. In the future, the Bamin Film Tour will continue to take advantage of the Golden Rooster Award and Bamin Linkage to build a platform for the exhibition and promotion of Fujian film and television works and professional filmmakers, so as to prosper Fujian’s film industry.
