A 29-year-old woman was shot to death and her partner seriously injured when they were traveling in a blood-powered car through a neighborhood of the capital of Tucumán, judicial sources reported this Thursday.

The woman was identified by spokespeople as Emilse Luna (29), while the man who was injured and is in serious condition hospitalized at the Ángel C. Padilla hospital, is Gastón Robles.

According to the sources, the incident occurred last night, around 10 p.m., when Luna and Robles were traveling in a blood-powered car along 2300 Vicente Gallo Street, in the San Miguel neighborhood, and they were intercepted by a man who attacked them. gunshots.

As a result, the woman suffered injuries and died at the scene, while the man was taken to the hospital, where he received assistance and remains hospitalized.

The case is investigated by the Special Prosecutor’s Unit in Feria Homicides, directed by Ignacio López Bustos.

One of the hypotheses that investigators are using is that the attacker could be an acquaintance of the woman’s minor nephew.

According to this clue, the day before they were both traveling on a motorcycle that had a kidnapping request when they were intercepted by the police, who detained the minor, while the other managed to escape.

Following this line, the prosecution handles two possibilities: that the accused went to rebuke the couple because he believes they had handed him over to the police, or that Luna and Robles approached him to complain about the arrest of the woman’s nephew and that For this reason he attacked them with shots.
