Actress Karla Souza Shares News of Daughter’s Birth After 33-Hour Labor
Actress Karla Souza took to social media to announce the arrival of her daughter, Giulia, after a grueling 33-hour labor. The 38-year-old actress shared a series of photos on Instagram this morning, introducing the newest member of her family.
In her post, Souza humorously recounted the labor experience, writing, “After a 33-hour marathon of labor that stopped and started more times than a film production during Covid, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Giulia! Yes, you read that right – 33 hours. The plot twist? The doctor and epidural didn’t arrive on time!”
Last November, Souza surprised fans by revealing her pregnancy at the International Emmy Awards, where she won the award for Best Female Performance for The Fall. This will be her third child with husband Marshall Trenkmann, following the births of Gianna in 2018 and Luka in 2020.
