The rest was constant laughter, an entertaining proposal and good performances, among which stand out the always effective Mike Chouhy y Paula Staffolani, in a hilarious role.
The story of a young couple who commits platonic infidelity With those celebrities for whom each member has a crush, it ends up escalating to disproportionate proportions when both bring that desire to reality. This is the starting point of the comedy that has hilarious moments, an interesting staging and an excellent dynamic on stage that does not falter at any time.
That is how The work confronts fantasy with reality, what we think we want with what we actually realize we want and the contributions of a diverse group of secondary characters that, at times, entertain more than the protagonists. The romantic duo is completed with the charming Rocío Igarzábal, at times seductive and at other times shrill to the extreme (perhaps too much), going through the ups and downs of a life that changed suddenly. Chouhy wins over the audience from the first intervention, bringing warmth and a bit of silliness to his Mateo. He perfectly embodies today’s young man.
At this point, the participation of April Suliansky and Agustín Vidal Rossi, in charge of composing both the best friends of the leading couple and others, providing color, friendliness and lots of laughter. But it is undoubtedly the stereotype that Staffolani makes up what made us laugh the most, and even sympathize with his annoying and harassing Paula.
As I said, the dynamic is very well carried out by the director, setting a rhythm that does not falter, without potholes and without uneven interpretations. Without a doubt, the scenery of Lula Rojo, the lighting of Leandro Fretes and the beautiful wardrobe Gustavo Alderete (The Wardrobe Moth, who must review the clothing changes with her assistant so that the contrasting dress that the protagonist is wearing under another for a quick change at the end is not visible), make an important contribution. They only have to improve the audio of the artists’ microphones, which sounds very artificial.
