Arona, the most loyal readers of the municipal library awarded

As many as 138 books were read in 2021 by Adriana Chiari, who was awarded on Saturday 19 February by the Arona library as the most frequent reader of last year in the adult category. For the group of young adults aged 11 to 16, the record is Mbaye Cherif Ousseynou Laye with 27 books, while Edoardo Casiraghi with 64 titles is the first for the age group from 7 to 10.

Among the babies (0-6 years) the winner is Emanuele Lupo Rossi, with 33 books. Readers were awarded by the councilor for culture Chiara Autumn and by the head of the library Alessandra Salvini with a certificate and a book. The most read book for 2021 was Antonio Manzini’s “The Last Days of Quiet” followed by “Too cold for September” by Maurizio De Giovanni and “The notebook of lost love” by Valerie Perrin.

“Our library is the perfect place where Aronese readers can travel with their imagination – underlines the councilor Autumn – All the winners have shown a great passion that, regardless of age, they share and that becomes a witness to how much the library can be increasingly a point of reference for the community “.
