Beijing opens performance season of “Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture”

Beijing has launched the performance season of “Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture”, presenting the audience with a cultural feast full of new year flavor and classic inheritance. The performance season will last until the end of March.
According to reports, this performance season has a rich variety of works. 22 art performance groups in Beijing will bring more than a hundred outstanding performances, covering 14 art categories such as Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera, drama, and dance drama. This performance season will be performed in 19 theaters, including professional theaters such as the National Center for the Performing Arts, Tianqiao Arts Center, and China Children’s Theater, as well as new performing arts spaces such as the Jixiang Theater in Dongcheng District and the Gulou West Theater in Xicheng District.
This season will showcase the rich and diverse traditions of Chinese culture, bringing together a wide range of performances to delight and inspire audiences. The “Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture” performance season marks an important celebration of the country’s cultural heritage and is a feast for the senses for both locals and visitors alike.
