According to reports,Ben Maa is back together for an untitled new film that will focus on former Nike sales executive Sonny Vaccaro’s tireless efforts to sign Michael Jordan.Affleck and Damon both star, write, and produce, with the former directing and produced by Amazon and Skydance Sports.

Damon as Vaccaro and Affleck as Nike co-founder Phil Knight, about Nike signing rising superstar basketball player Michael Jordan into the then third-ranked shoe industry in the mid-’80s long-term efforts of the company.
An endorsement seemed impossible at the time, but thanks to maverick sneaker salesman Vaccaro, it would become the most important relationship between a sports brand and an athlete. The deal kickstarted the global multi-billion-dollar contemporary sneaker industry and helped basketball achieve the same.
At the heart of the film is Vaccaro’s relentless pursuit to sign Jordan, who will come into contact with many of the latter’s people around him – family, especially his strong and dynamic mother, as well as former coaches, advisors and friends, while Jordan’s character will not appear in the film.
