In 2024 BLOODBOUND will celebrate their 20th band anniversary. Twenty years in which the Swedish power metal export has left a lasting impression on fans and the global metal scene.
The band has ten studio albums to their name, as well as numerous major festival appearances and tours. With songs like “Nosferatu”, “The Warlock’s Trail”, “Battle in the Sky”, or new songs from their discography like “Drink with the Gods”, BLOODBOUND – which was founded in 2004 by keyboardist Fredrik Bergh and guitarist Tomas Olsson – have their Sound established in the music world. And not just because of their talent, but also because of their own affiliation with the metal scene, the associated dedication and understanding of what it takes to be able to write extremely good power metal songs.

In 2005, the first BLOODBOUND studio album “Nosferatu” was released, which was followed by nine further works such as “Creatures of the Dark Realm”, “Rise of the Dragon Empire”, and “Tales from the North”. The BLOODBOUND train is unstoppable to this day and the band has been consistently releasing good power metal albums for two decades.
Now it’s time to do something special for this special, milestone birthday in 2024. And what makes more sense than a live album? In addition to their great reputation as a studio band, BLOODBOUND was also able to make a name for themselves as a fantastic live act. This will be with „The Tales of Nosferatu – Two Decades of Blood“ impressively demonstrated. An anniversary album that perfectly reflects the highlights of their career and an irrepressible live energy. In addition to the entire Masters of Rock show, excerpts from a past Japan performance as well as all previously released music videos are included in the Blu-Ray. As an extra treat, the upcoming BLOODBOUND release contains a comic that was designed by long-time companion and designer Péter Sallai and deals with the origin story of the band’s mascot Nossen. Tastefully illustrated and the story tailored to the band and their songs, this work is an absolute must!
