The business plan on which Bobst – one of the world‘s leading suppliers of machinery and services for substrate treatment, printing and converting for the industries producing labels, packaging, boxes and corrugated cardboard – aims to “further consolidate the position of technological and market leadership », recovering the skills and industrial assets of Cerutti and guaranteeing assistance to over a thousand customers worldwide. The industrial idea that guided the Swiss company in the acquisition of Cerutti is to relaunch the Italian brand in some sectors, “with models designed specifically to meet the needs of certain markets, such as the Asian ones, an area in which ex Cerutti had left by selling its patents to some Chinese and Indian competitors ».

In the plan presented to the bankruptcy trustee Bobst, which has an office in San Giorgio Monferrato, the former Rotomec, a few kilometers from Casale Monferrato, undertakes to hire 30 employees. The project also provides for the possibility of stipulating contracts with the future cooperative of ex-workers. «In the future, priority will be given to former employees, compatibly with the skills required, when we need additional staff» writes the company in black and white.
