Daniel Barraco took office this Monday as president of the Radio and Television Services (SRT) dependent on the National University of Córdoba (UNC).

Shackwho served as Secretary of Science and Technology of the UNC and since 2017 is the president of the Science Interpretation Center-Planetarium Foundation, “Plaza Cielo Tierra”, will replace Manuel San Pedro who held the position since 2016.
The vice presidency of multimediawhich includes Canal 10, Canal U, FM Más que Música, Radio Universidad and the news website cba24n.com.ar, will be led by Andrés Biga.

“I must take charge of this ship that is already inches from the reef. The situation is difficult and I can only offer my greatest and best effort as a man of the University,” said Barraco.
“I come as a man from the University to try to see what we can do with the company, save it and the sources of work that can be saved the most”, he added in statements to Canal 10 published by the site CBA24n.
“I come to be the first rower on the boat, the one who sets the pace. I ask all workers to row at this pace: those who row are going to reach port. “My word has always been worth more than my signature,” said the new head of the SRT.
