Damien Hirst and Rizzoli Collaborate on New Book: ‘To Live Forever (For a While)’

Rizzoli Teams Up with Damien Hirst to Launch New Book “Damien Hirst, To Live Forever (For a While)”

Renowned publisher Rizzoli has joined forces with British artist Damien Hirst to release a captivating new book titled “Damien Hirst, To Live Forever (For a While)”. This exhibition catalog delves into the theme of death and showcases Hirst’s celebrated works to provide readers with a profound artistic experience.

Featuring pieces from Hirst’s iconic formaldehyde series, including the famous shark work Death Denied, as well as his intricate butterfly collage paintings, this book captures the artist’s ability to captivate viewers and spark contemplation. The collection includes over 50 works from various international collections and is designed to commemorate both the Jumex Museum’s 10th anniversary and Hirst’s first major exhibition in Mexico City.

Inspired by Mexican culture, particularly the Day of the Dead, Hirst considers Mexico his second home and pays tribute to the country through his art. “Damien Hirst, To Live Forever (For a While)” will be available for purchase on the Rizzoli official website and designated stores starting June 11. Fans and art enthusiasts alike are encouraged to keep an eye out for this highly anticipated release.
