At the first batch delivery ceremony of Xiaomi SU7, Xiaomi Group founder Lei Jun personally delivered the cars to the first batch of car owners, and delivery centers in 28 cities across the country also started the first batch of deliveries simultaneously.
On the morning of April 3, the first batch delivery ceremony of Xiaomi SU7 was held in the final assembly workshop of Xiaomi Automobile Factory in Yizhuang, Beijing. Lei Jun, founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, attended the ceremony and personally delivered the cars to the first batch of car owners. Delivery centers in 28 cities across the country also started the first batch of deliveries simultaneously.
Earlier that day, Lei Jun also announced on Weibo that starting today, Xiaomi will officially become a car manufacturer.
Lei Jun said at the delivery ceremony that in just a few days after Xiaomi SU7 went on sale, more than 100,000 people had placed orders, and the number of locked orders had exceeded 40,000.
It is understood that Xiaomi Auto after-sales network has currently set up 58 service centers across the country. In terms of car owner services, Xiaomi Auto has established an “exclusive service butler group” in the Xiaomi Auto App for each car owner. Service butlers + technical experts respond to user needs 24/7. The service process is transparent and traceable, and car owners can stay at home. At the same time, Xiaomi Automobile Factory is orderly arranging production for existing orders and accelerating the production process in a steady and orderly manner. The Xiaomi automobile factory located in Yizhuang, Beijing, is highly automated and intelligent. When the production capacity is full, a brand new Xiaomi SU7 can roll off the assembly line every 76 seconds.
