Defense and Justice and Dep. Riestra divided the points 1 to 1

At Albirrojo Stadium, Halcón and Los Malevos sealed a 1-1 draw in the duel for date 7 of Argentina – LPF Cup 2024

The Defensa y Justicia team started at a disadvantage with a goal scored by Jonathan Herrera in the 9th minute of the first half, but managed to equalize the score with defender Nicolás Tripichio in the 10th minute of the second stage.

Defensa y Justicia had a chance to score that was almost equal, but Luciano Herrera’s shot ended up hitting the post.

Even dominating in possession (75% compared to 25%) and in the number of shots (16 against 6), Defensa y Justicia was not able to translate those numbers into the goal that would have given them the victory.

Nicolás Tripichio had a great performance. The Defensa y Justicia defender was important by scoring 1 goal.

Another player who had a great game was Jonathan Herrera. The Dep. Riestra attacker shone by scoring 1 goal, kicking 2 times and making 6 correct passes.

With few fouls, it was a game with clean and well-directed play. There were 3 reprimands: Pedro Ramírez, Nicolás Benegas and José Méndez. Benjamín Schamine was sent off for a straight red card in the 78th minute of the second half.

The Defense DT, Julio César Vaccari, presented a 4-5-1 tactical layout with Cristopher Fiermarin at the arch; Nicholas Tripichio, Emmanuel Aguilera, Santiago Ramos Mingo and Alexis Soto on the defensive line; Julian Lopez, Kevin Lopez, Luciano Herrera, Gabriel Alanis and Gaston Togni in midfield; and Nicholas Fernandez in the attack.

For its part, Cristian Fabbiani’s team came out with a 4-4-2 tactical layout with Ignacio Arce between the three sticks; Nicolás Sansotre, Alan Barrionuevo, Nicolás Caro Torres and Pedro Ramírez in defense; Maximiliano Rodríguez, Jonatan Goitía, Jonatan Goya and Milton Céliz in the midfield; and Nicolás Benegas and Jonathan Herrera up front.
