Suddenly I wanted to know the life of this composer. I found out when I checked the Internet that he was born in a musical family and his father was the most famous composer in Mexico. Ernesto lost his parents in a car accident when he was thirteen years old. He lived with his grandmother when he was young and still completed his music studies. When he was seventeen, he lobbied with filmmakers, hoping to give him a chance to compose film background music. Many people think he is too young to believe that he has this ability. Ernesto impressed one of the producers and got the opportunity to compose, and since then began to work in film music. At the age of eighteen, he wrote the background music and theme song for “La Risa de la Ciudad”. The theme song “River of Dreams” in the film won the Best Background Music Award for Latin American Film at the Cartagena International Film Festival in Colombia in 1957. Since then, he has composed and scored more than 500 films and ten TV series, and is a successful film background music composer and performer.

Ernesto had a brilliant music career in Los Angeles. In 2001, he returned to his hometown of Tampico, Mexico, to spend the last few years of the fight against cancer with his family. He died in 2004 at the age of 64. . The gratifying thing is that although he was disappointed in his youth, he achieved outstanding music and a happy family. Ernesto once said: “My wife, my family and beautiful friendships have always been the source of creative inspiration. They have been with me for 40 years.
