To guide the compatriots towards vintage engines is above all the love for their historicity and rarity (32%), followed by a fascination of yesteryear for vintage goods and objects (28%), while another 18% sees them as a way to put your savings into a unique and valuable asset.
If aesthetics and design (32%) are considered the most important aspects in the choice, what also counts is the fact that the car is in good condition (29%) and still has original parts (26%), while another 17% would like, with the purchase of an old glory, to be able to relive and savor the taste of past eras.
A sentiment, that for vintage cars, which also has a price: the outlay for the purchase, in fact, is considered binding by one in four (27%), but for the majority (61%), also considering that price range is very wide and therefore the economic commitment can vary significantly, it can be offset by the beauty of owning an unparalleled vehicle and its possible growth in value over time.
If it is true that passion makes us blind, Italians do not hide, however, that they also have concerns about it: first of all, the risk of damage, which can involve even significant costs (53%) and require spare parts that are not always easy. to find (45%). Thefts and vandalism are also feared (37%), as well as the difficulty of finding a specialized professional in case of need (16%).
For these reasons, many find an insurance policy useful for this type of vehicle. The advantages? Cover damages for various types of risks (37%), be able to choose the most suitable protections for the case (33%) and derive a general sense of security (23%).
