The band. Only five musicians (plus the participation of a saxophonist and a harmonica player) supported Pintos, who had absolute centrality on stage. Even from the shadows, his companions confirmed his share in a proposal that seems to contemplate every sound and every moment. The hand in hand between the Pintos brothers, priceless.

The dance. If in other contexts (such as folk festivals) Abel adapts his repertoire according to the occasion, what was seen in Athens was the concert with which Pintos will tour the country. It is clear that in this new version of the singer, dancing occupies a more prominent place. The final segment of the show confirms this and delivers a melting pot of Latin rhythms that has its corollary in a great quartet. Let me miss everything, his collaboration with Luck Ra, made the audience explode and was the greatest peak of ecstasy of the show.

Abel, always Abel. Years pass but his sensitivity seems intact. And there is no greater capital in a musician’s career than the way in which he connects with his audience. Every time he spoke, Pintos struck a chord.
