OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Adolis Garcia doubled to start an eight-run eighth inning capped by his second grand slam of the season as the Texas Rangers beat Oakland 11-3 on Sunday to snatch three of four to the A’s.

Garcia had three hits and five RBIs. He has 10 home runs and leads the majors with 42 RBIs.

Oakland fell to a 9-33 record, the worst in the majors, and is on pace to finish with a 35-127 pace, which would be the most losses in the majors since the 1899 Cleveland Spiders finished with mark of 20-134.

The game drew 7,793 fans to the Coliseum, the finale of a four-game series that totaled 25,547 fans. The A’s have tied less than 10,000 in 13 of 21 home games, including eight of 10 since announcing on April 20 that the team had signed an agreement to buy land to build a stadium in Las Vegas.

Robbie Grossman homered for the second straight day and had three hits as Texas completed a 7-3 road trip, its best since an 8-2 road trip in 2016.

For the Rangers, Cuban Adolis García went 5-3 with two runs scored and five RBIs. Dominicans Ezequiel Durán 4-2 with a run scored, Leody Taveras 4-0 with a run run and an RBI.

For the Athletics, the Dominican Ramón Laureano 4-2 with two runs scored. The Cuban Aledmys Díaz of 4-2.
