Hebei Province Hosts Viewing Ceremony for “Guardians” Movie

On January 28, the Hebei viewing ceremony for the movie “Guardians” was held in Shijiazhuang, welcoming people with experience in aiding Xinjiang, along with the film’s creative team and fans from all walks of life.

Directed by Hebei director Huang Shan and written by Wang Anrun, “Guardians” stars Xia Tian, Ma Jing, and others. The film is based on the inspiring story of Wang Xianhua, a national greening medal winner and a ranger of the 31st Regiment of the Second Division of the Corps. It tells the story of several generations of Corps members who worked tirelessly to build a green ecological barrier in the Tarim Reclamation Area, effectively preventing the two major deserts – the Taklimakan Desert and the Kumtag Desert – from closing in.

During the viewing ceremony, the film’s creative team interacted with the audience, with Director Huang Shan expressing the hope that more people could feel the sincerity of the Corps members and their dedication to protecting their home and country. Many viewers expressed how deeply moved they were by the movie, highlighting its sincerity and the achievements of Hebei’s cultural aid to Xinjiang.

As a high-quality film jointly produced by Hebei Province and Xinjiang, “Guardians” showcases the major achievements of Hebei’s aid to Xinjiang.
