In another new film, the action film “Grey Man”, the character of the High Commander was teased by another starring Chris Evans’ character as a “Ken doll”, to which the High Commander said: “(This) No offense at all, I’m proud of it.”
His wife, Eva Mendes, also affirmed Ken’s look before, thanking the High Commander for this. “Her love for Ken means a lot to me.”
High Commander also stated that in “Barbie,” Ken had a tougher time than his “Grey Man” character (a deadly agent being hunted down): “Ken has no money, no job, and he’s been through a lot.” The film tells the story of Barbie’s experience after entering the real world. Presumably Ken did not adapt well after leaving the Barbie Kingdom.
