In the month of Marchthe Consumer Price Index of the City of Buenos Aires registered a 13.2% increasewith which the accumulated from the first quarter marked an increase of 57.3%, while the interannual trajectory was 285.3%.
The data serves as a thermometer for what will be the national measurement of the inflation data that the INDEC will publish this Friday the 12th. The government is confident of having a figure closer to 10%, although what was recorded in CABA is that it remains at levels similar to February.
Single-digit inflation would arrive in May according to the consulting firms surveyed by the Central Bank
It is worth considering that in the second month of the year, the CPI in CABA had been a few points higher at 14.1%, while national inflation reached 13.2%, the same figure recorded this month by the City of Buenos Aires.
