Various international media in Spanish and English have highlighted the new feat of El Salvador by offering 5,000 passports for qualified professionals, the press has been interested in their articles about the cost it would have for a foreigner if they decide to live in Salvadoran territory.
After 24 hours of the announcement made official by the President, Nayib Bukele, there were already 400 professionals interested in applying for the Salvadoran Government’s offer, including teachers, researchers and students.
Many repressed professionals from countries like Cuba have seen El Salvador’s strategy as an opportunity for development, since the Government will provide facilities for the stay of whoever applies and their family.
