Independiente received a new inhibition from the Court of Arbitration for Sport for non-compliance with Tijuana of Mexico in the payment plan for the loan of forward Facundo Ferreyra in 2022. The debt for Chucky is 460 thousand dollars.
The Xolos claim the two installments of 180 thousand dollars that had been agreed in September 2023 and another 100 thousand more as a penalty for non-payment.
Independiente faces other debts of more than six million dollars: 2,200,000 with the Uruguayan Gastón Silva (next inhibition), 2,400,000 with the Ecuadorian Fernando Gaibor, the fee of 766 thousand with América de México for the Paraguayan Cecilio Domínguez and one of almost 100 thousand dollars that Mazatlán from Mexico claims for the pass of goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa. A second semester is coming without reinforcements.
