The most anticipated sporting event in Cipolletti already has a date. This Saturday will be Cipolletti City Bullfight, two tests, 14 kilometers and a night to enjoy with family and friends. Diario RÍO NEGRO brings you all the details so you can start preparing.
Over the years, the bullfight t-shirt became a symbol of the most important sporting event in the city. On Saturday, March 2, there will be more than 12 thousand people wearing the shirt of the 38th Corrida Ciudad de Cipolletti, a symbol that marks the identity of all Cipoleños and that began to be implemented since 1996 (10th edition).
The traditional athletic test will be held on Saturday, March 2 on the circuit that involves Pacheco, Mengelle and Alem streets. There will be a warm-up at the Bicentenario Plaza roundabout, cloakrooms at the Cipolletti Cultural Complex and hydration stations.
At 20 will start the 4 kilometers, a non-competitive family test in which there will be no classification or awards.
At 9:30 p.m. will be the turn of the 10 kilometer competitive test. An automatic RFID timing system will be used using an identifying chip that the runner must carry throughout the race tied to one of their feet. The computers located at the arrival and at a point along the route will read the chip code as you pass by them.
The runner’s official time will be taken from the starting shot until the moment of crossing the finishing mats. And lap control will be carried out with automatic controls along the route.
Cipolletti 2024 bullfight: where you can pick up the official t-shirt
The delivery of official t-shirts will have different days and times depending on the test in which you participate. For this 2024 edition, its green color stands out, in a light blue gradient with orange details on its sleeves and light blue neck. and stamped all the accompanying sponsors.
In the case of the 4 kilometer family test, Delivery will be made on Saturday, March 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. In it Municipal stadium located at United Nations 1700 and in the Municipal Sports Complex (Former Corpofrut). They informed that the QR code that arrives by email must be presented at the time of registration.
While for the 10 kilometer competitive test, the shirt and chip must be removed in the Cipolletti Cultural Complex on Friday, March 1 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. And on Saturday the 2nd between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.. In turn, they clarified that they must present their ID and bring a copy of the confirmation email or present it on their cell phone.
Corrida Ciudad de Cipolletti 2024: gastronomic, music and entrepreneurs festival
In frame to the Corrida Ciudad de Cipolletti a great gastronomic and musical festival will be held on Fernández Oro street, from May 25 to Villegas. The proposal will be developed within the framework of the 38th Corrida Ciudad de Cipolletti, from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
It is festival will feature gastronomic carts, with food produced with local raw materials and live music. In addition, local entrepreneurs and artisans who make up the Social Economy Fair will be present.
On Fernández Oro and Villegas streets, a stage will be placed in which the following schedule of activities will take place:
