After a 30-year hiatus, popular 1990s singer Li Zhiqin is making a comeback to the music scene. The singer, known for hits like “Will You Miss Me” and “Butterfly,” has announced her return with the release of a new mini album titled “Time” on the occasion of her 35th anniversary.

Li Zhiqin will release a song in memory called “Beautiful” and will also hold her first solo performance at the Ximen Riverbank in Taipei on the eve of her birthday from February 3rd to 4th.

The singer, who rose to fame after being appreciated by senior artist Zhang Xiaoyan and becoming a junior sister of the “Little Tigers,” took a break from the entertainment industry in 1990 to pursue her dream of fashion design in the United States.

In recent years, Li Zhiqin has ventured into the drama circle and was even shortlisted for the Supporting Actress Award at the Asian Television Awards for her role in the Taiwanese drama “Mirror Forest.”

Admitting to feeling more excited than nervous about returning to the recording studio, Li Zhiqin revealed that she practiced her pronunciation with a teacher, focused on exercise and diet control, and also did some spiritual exploration to get into the right mindset for her new album.

Speaking about her upcoming release, Li Zhiqin said, “I hope that through this album that I have worked hard to complete, I can pay tribute to the noble people who supported and helped me back then, and also thank my fans for their continued support.”

Fans of the singer are eagerly awaiting her comeback and are looking forward to hearing her new music. With her dedication and hard work, it’s clear that Li Zhiqin’s return to the music scene is sure to be a success.
