There are also locations and artists from Biella in two of the ten shorts of the «Ciak! Piemonte che spectacle ”, made in as many symbolic places of Piedmont, which are being presented these days at the Cinema Lux as part of the“ Torino Film Festival ”. Through these author’s courts, the project, conceived and implemented by the Crt Foundation, with the Film Commission Torino Piemonte and the Piemonte dal Vivo Foundation, intends to promote the excellence of the historical, architectural and landscape heritage of the region together with the talents of the performing arts.
Some symbolic places of Piedmontese art and culture in recent months have therefore been transformed into film sets welcoming theater, music, dance and contemporary circus companies. After this official presentation, the shorts will be shown on TV, in cinemas, on websites, in independent circuits and in other festivals, also becoming tools for tourism promotion and territorial marketing.
The musicians of the Perosi Academy and the dancers of the company EgriBiancoDanza, Turin but very present in the area, were involved in “Io i oi” by Francesco Lorusso, shot at the Ogr in Turin. Il Ricetto di Candelo hosted Enrica Viola’s «Never saw true beauty till this night», created with the blucinQue Company and the Cirko Vertigo Foundation.
