Mulberry and Stefan Cooke Launch Collaborative Series Redefining Second-hand Bag Fashion
A new collaboration series between luxury brand Mulberry and British design duo Stefan Cooke has been launched at the DSM Beijing store. The collection features branded Pre-loved bags created by Stefan Cooke, showcasing British craftsmanship at its finest. Stefan and Jake, the founding designers of the brand, worked closely with craftsmen at the Rookery factory in Somerset, England to develop repair technology and remake Pre-loved bags by hand.
The collaborative series is part of Mulberry’s Editions series, which includes second-hand bag items from the brand’s recycling program, Mulberry Exchange. Launched in China in October 2023, Mulberry Exchange aims to certify old bags and give them a new life through sustainable craftsmanship and low environmental impact manufacturing.
The exclusive series will debut at the Stefan Cooke Spring/Summer 2024 show at London Fashion Week in September 2023. The collection will also be launched at the DSM London store and the DSM Beijing store, with a focus on sustainable fashion and circularity.
Stefan Cooke expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “It’s great to be continuing our partnership with Mulberry with a second capsule collection, which we’re proud to launch exclusively at Dover Street Market. It’s the perfect continuation of a true collaboration, uniting our two brands’ shared passion for craftsmanship and redefining Time-honored second-hand bag fashion.”

The Mulberry x Stefan Cooke collection incorporates four iconic design elements from Stefan Cooke’s signature style, including bows, long handles, weaving details, and slash graphics. The bags also feature upcycled materials and co-branded graphic charms, highlighting the brand’s commitment to sustainable fashion.
The exclusive second-hand bag capsule collection is now available at the DSM London store and online, with launches at the DSM Beijing store and Tokyo Ginza store in March 2024.
