Novara, two days of free ascents to the dome for teachers: “A project to enhance the jewels of the territory in schools”

At the San Gaudenzio Dome in Novara, a free day for school teachers of all levels. After the reopening to the public of the ascent to the Dome, the invitation to discover the wonder is now addressed to the teachers of the territory: on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 April a free guided tour is scheduled for them to discover Antonelli’s masterpiece.
The initiative is part of a broader project that looks at the world of school and intends to encourage the active participation of children and young people in the places of culture in the city.

In fact, throughout the spring, teachers will be able to book a visit to the Dome for their classes, with different itineraries based on the age of the participants: route to the colonnade particularly aimed at primary schools; the one at the Cupola recommended for secondary school of I and II degree, which allows you to reach 75 meters in height and finally the one at the spire, reserved for over 14 years, which is reserved to reach the top of the building located at 100 meters height.

“In the process of enhancing our extraordinary Dome – explains the Mayor of Novara Alessandro Canelli – an important phase is precisely the promotion of the Antonellian monument in schools. Starting from the teachers who, through the proposed educational courses, will be able to appreciate not only the architectural aspect but also a part of history in which our city has been the protagonist “.

Teachers interested in participating can book by contacting Kalatà at the e-mail address [email protected] or through the call center at 0174.330976 and opting for one of the three available shifts (lasting two hours each):
