Avatar 1 was the highest-grossing film in the world ($2.8 billion), and the sequel, Avatar 2, set 14 years after its predecessor, was originally scheduled to hit theaters in December 2014, but was delayed multiple times until this year’s schedule.
Avatar 2 will be released on December 16, 2022, Avatar 3 will be released on December 20, 2023, Avatar 4 will be released on December 18, 2026, and Avatar 5 will be released in 2028 Released on December 22.
