“Deep down, I always thought that having a husband was the most important thing in my life,” Shakira said. “I was looking for that man like my father, who I would have children with and then make plans to be with him forever, like my parents, who are still so in love,” she added.

In 2022, Shakira and Gerard Piqué separated after eleven years of a relationship and two children: Shasha and Milan. After a long and high-profile breakup that led her to move to Miami, Shakira confessed that she has not lost her faith in love. She says her parents’ relationship helps her maintain hope.

“I can’t say that I don’t believe in love because I see the example of my parents after 50 years together,” he said. “I have witnessed love, but I have not been so lucky either,” she lamented.

New album and tour

In March, Shakira also released her new album Women no longer cry, the twelfth of her career, and this week she announced that she will go on tour.

Through her Instagram account, the singer published the dates of her tour Women no longer cry world tour, which will begin next November 2 in Palm Desert, California.

“I am happy to announce the first dates of my WOMEN NO LORE LORE world tour, a celebration for my pack,” Shakira wrote.

In total, there will be 14 concerts so far in cities in the United States and Canada.

“The first part of the tour will be through North America, the only opportunity to see the show in a more intimate way. The international dates will be announced soon, so stay tuned,” the Colombian indicated in her post.
