Asian Film Awards Hong Kong Awards Chen Jianbin, Jiang Qinqin, and Tiffany Hsu “talk about acting” on the red carpet
The 17th Asian Film Awards ceremony took place in Hong Kong on March 10, with a gathering of stars and filmmakers from across Asia in attendance to witness the winners of various awards. On the red carpet, three prominent film and television actors, Chen Jianbin, Jiang Qinqin, and Xu Tiffany, spoke to reporters about their prowess in acting. Jiang Qinqin, who won the Best Actress award, even shared insights on how she is able to “explode in acting”.
A total of 16 regular awards and several special awards were presented at the ceremony. Alongside Jiang Qinqin’s Best Actress win, Yakusho Koji took home the Best Actor award. Additionally, renowned figures Zhang Yimou and Zhao Liying received the “Lifetime Achievement” award and “AFA New Generation Award”, respectively. “Riverfall” emerged as the highest-grossing Asian film of the year.
