The French Mathieu Jouvin, deputy director of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, is the new superintendent of the Teatro Regio in Turin. This was announced by the mayor and president of the Opera Foundation’s Foundation, Stefano Lo Russo.
Tomorrow the appointment will be formalized by the theater’s Steering Committee and then sent to the Ministry of Culture, which is responsible for the final decision. “We have completed the work of selection and the Steering Council will ratify the proposal tomorrow – explained Lo Russo – Jouvin has a long experience in opera houses: we await him with great confidence for our theater that we love”.
