ROME – The Telepass promotional campaign reserved for users who subscribe to the electronic toll system continues also for 2022. The advantages that are applied on the main Italian motorway sections provide for reductions on the cost of electronic toll services by an average of 50% and the objective of Telepass is to promote advantageous offers to allow you to benefit from mobility without queues and without waiting. The promotional initiative renewed by the company aims to favor the fluidity of traffic as well as to eliminate the queues at the toll booths of the sections concerned and, at the same time, to increase the environmental benefits and the safety of motorists on the road.
By facilitating the users of the Telepass electronic toll, the diffusion of this system is increased, which allows for a reduction in waiting times near the motorway toll booths, especially on days when there is more intense traffic or during peak times of the day. By thus reducing parking times and eliminating the queues at motorway stations, it is possible to obtain a decrease in polluting emissions from waiting vehicles, also improving the safety of motorists thanks to the drastic decrease in the number of vehicles present at the same time in the station aprons. The promotion is part of the Telepass group’s green strategy, “Safe & Clean”, carried out together with the participating motorway concessionaires, with the aim of improving the smoothness of traffic and concretely contributing to safer and more environmentally friendly mobility.
