The Israeli Army rescued two Argentine hostages during an operation in the southern Gaza Strip

The Israeli military announced early Monday morning that two hostages, of Argentine nationality, taken by Hamas during their October 7 attacks they had been rescued in an overnight operation in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

The army said in a statement that “during a joint operation by the IDF (military), the ISA (Shin Bet security agency), and the Israel Police in Rafah, overnight, two Israeli hostages were rescued, Fernando Simon Marman (60) and Louis Har (70)”, adding that the couple was in “good medical condition.”

Los two hostages recovered are Argentine nationalsanother nine citizens of this country remain in the hands of Hamas terrorists.

The authorities confirmed that it is in “good medical condition”.

Security forces will continue to operate with all means to return the hostages home.

From the Press Office of President Javier Milei they published, as soon as the news was known: «The President’s Office thanks the Israeli Defense Forces, the Shabak and the Israeli Police for having successfully completed the rescue of the Argentines Fernando Simon Marman ( 60) and Louis Har (70), who had been kidnapped since last October 7 by the terrorist group Hamas. During his visit to the State of Israel, President Javier Milei reiterated to President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the request for the release of each of the Argentine hostages, and continues to firmly maintain his condemnation of Hamas terrorism.
