ROMA – Crusin ‘Rodeo, American Dreams, Us Car Reunion, are just some of the main events dedicated to cars made in the USA taking place in Italy. Events that see the participation of American cars from all over Europe and that testify how much passion there is around the stars and stripes models of all eras. This is well known to Cavauto, a Brianza-based company founded by Hermes Cavarzan, which boasts more than forty years of tradition in the import and distribution of models from the United States, as well as being the first to import and launch the Hummer brand in Italy in the 2003. A growth, that of Yankee cars, which has just led the Cavauto group to expand its “American Division – Automotive Network” with six new mandates. Already last year, the Group had decided to develop the American Division business branch, creating a network of dealers specialized in the marketing of vehicles belonging to some US brands that Cavauto distributes in Italy, or of which it has the exclusive right.
Brands such as Cadillac and Chevrolet with Camaro and Corvette, of which the company is the only one to have the official mandate for the sale of new models in Italy, by the European branch based in Zurich, to which the Shelby brand is added, of which it is the Italian distributor. Dealers adhering to the American Division – Automotive Network can thus choose to market the cars they deem most in line with their target customers, benefiting from the variety of stock assortment of the Cavauto group and its know-how in this market niche. After the previous appointment of the first four dealers, the network has now expanded to cover an even wider territory, including Rome, Florence, Turin, Treviso, Udine and Cagliari. Among the models made in the USA that enthusiasts will be able to buy we find, among others, Cadillac XT4 (to which the new Escalade will be added at the end of the year), Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Silverado pick-up, Shelby Mustang, Shelby F- 150 pickup, and the beefy Harley Davidson Truck.
