Yosuke Aizawa Collaborates with goyemon to Launch New Co-Branded Shoe
Yosuke Aizawa, the man behind the outdoor functional brand White Mountaineering, has recently partnered with Japanese independent design unit goyemon to release a new co-branded shoe. This collaboration marks the second time that both parties have worked together, following the success of their first project, the hybrid shoe “unda”.
goyemon, founded in 2018, gained popularity in 2019 with the release of “unda”, a unique shoe that combined traditional snowflake patterns with a modern air-cushion midsole. For their latest collaboration, White Mountaineering’s original jacquard fabric has been incorporated into the design, along with herringbone laces, creating a striking mix of retro and contemporary elements.
The new co-branded shoe features a transparent air cushion midsole, providing wearers with a comfortable walking experience reminiscent of walking on clouds. Available in three colors – black, navy blue, and off-white – the shoe is sure to appeal to fans of both brands.
