There were four finalists Friday. Lucas from team Laura, Laurens from team Mathieu, Kobe from team Koen and Christophe from team Laura. They each got to sing two more songs. Lucas chose ‘High’ by Stephen Sanchez and ‘Careless whisper’ by George Michael, Laurens opted for ‘Dancing on the ceiling’ by Lionel Richie and ‘All along the watchtower’ by Bob Dylan, Kobe opted for ‘Don’t pass me by’ by Sean Costello and ‘Devil’ by Shinedown’ and Christophe ventured to ‘Sound of silence’ by Disturbed and ‘Beautiful thing’ by Benson Boone.

After the first round of voting, Laurens and Lucas had to leave the final, after which Christophe and Kobe were allowed on stage again. Christophe went for Gavin DeGraw’s ‘I Don’t Want to Be’, while Kobe performed Aerosmith’s ‘Cryin’.

It was Christophe who took home the victory and succeeded Louise as winner of ‘The voice of Flanders’. It earns him a prize of no less than 25,000 euros. “I still don’t understand it,” he said afterwards.
