Samsung today (29th) has successively released a new generation of Android 12 updates, as well as its own One UI 4.0. Samsung originally expected to push Android 12 for the flagship Galaxy S21 series in November, but then it was suspended due to a bug that may cause users to die after the update.
The first batch of Samsung phones supporting One UI 4.0 is still dominated by its own flagship phones, including the “late” Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, and a total of Ten models.
As for functions, One UI 4 not only includes features created by Google for Android 12, such as the new “Material You” design style, but also includes a new keyboard and a new privacy control panel.
Samsung has also released the Android 12 update schedule for other mobile phones. It is expected to receive updated mobile phones in January next year, including Z Fold 2, Z Flip 5G, Z Fold 5G, Z Flip, Note 10 series, S20 FE, S10 series, and mid-range Galaxy A52s and A42.
The high-end tablet Galaxy Tab S7 series is expected to receive the update in February 2022, and other mid-range phones that have the opportunity to get the update will have to wait at least after April 2022.
