Luis Magen Moreno, from the El Kau veterinary center in Barcelona, was awarded the best free communication in Feline Medicine at the GTA Veterinary Specialties Congress sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim. The congress, held on April 12 and 13 at the Valencia Conference Center, brought together over 1,200 specialists.
Boehringer Ingelheim, a company known for its expertise in diabetes treatment, showcased its latest launch, Senvelgo, a revolutionary feline diabetes treatment. The company sponsored the training rooms for specialists in Neurology, Cardiology, Rehabilitation, and Dermatology, as well as the free Feline Medicine communications room.
Helena Arce and Paula Baños from Boehringer Ingelheim presented the award for the best free communication on feline medicine, granting the winner registration for the ISFM congress of the International Society of Feline Medicine.
In addition to sponsoring the congress and presenting the award, Boehringer Ingelheim also had an information stand at the trade exhibition area, where they promoted Senvelgo, the new oral antidiabetic for cats.
The GTA Veterinary Specialties Congress, organized by AVEPA, attracted a large audience of veterinary specialists. Boehringer Ingelheim’s presence and sponsorship highlighted the importance of innovation in veterinary medicine, especially in the field of feline diabetes treatment.
