Investigation underway in Lower Saxony where a nurse suspected of injecting fake vaccines to patients
A nurse may have injected thousands of people with a saline solution instead of the anti-Covid preparation. The alarm comes from Germany where, as reported by various newspapers, about 8,600 people have been alerted that they may not have received the vaccine.
We are in Lower Saxony, in Friesland, in the county of Roffhausen where the nurse operated between March 5 and April 20, 2021. The case erupted when the woman confided to a colleague that she injected six patients with saline to hide the fall of a Pfizer-BioNTech vial.
The investigation is still ongoing but, from the first declarations of the authorities, the health worker would later apply this mmethod several times e with an intent that could have been animated – one of the hypotheses – by denialist convictions of the virus.
The county vaccination center is currently in the process of identifying people who would receive the saline solution for recall and possibly get them vaccinated again: a special toll-free number was put into service for information and reservations, through a post on Facebook. The saline solution has no health effects – reassures district councilor Sven Ambrosy – But I am very disturbed by the fact of having to make this notice, because many of our citizens may not have had the vaccination they want, they deserve.
According to the latest data released by the Robert Koch Health Institute, so far in the country 52 million people have received at least one dose, equal to 62.5% of the population.
