Apple macOS Monterey
After the brand new MacBook Pro is on the stage, the corresponding new system is naturally time to appear. Apple confirmed that macOS Monterey will be officially launched on October 25th, which will debut on the same day as the M1 Pro and M1 Max chip versions, but some features will be added later.
The new macOS Monterey brings new FaceTime, which will support spatial sound effects, link generation, background blurring, etc. What’s even better is that you can watch movies and listen to songs in the same frame with your family and friends through the SharePlay function. If you have Apple fans with multiple devices, you can use the new Universal Control function to connect your Mac and iPad wirelessly to extend the screen space across platforms. It’s just that the two functions of SharePlay and Universal Control have to wait a little longer, and will be added to macOS Monterey later this fall.
There are actually many new features that will be launched as scheduled, including adding more information to share content, a newly designed Safari browser, a focus mode that can be customized for different purposes, quick memos and memos, and AirPlay to Mac.
